After
purchasing a computer for bikes here
http://www.partsfortreadmill.com/index.php/stationary-bike-parts/computer-display-for-stationary-bike/
You
can do the adaptation by splicing the cables and connecting them
directly if the contacts do not exactly match those of the original
computer.
Speed
sensor (Sensore n. giri in the pic) is always a single-pin 2-pin
cable that differs from the others. Two pins are almost always enough
for the bike speed sensors.
The
double connectors (sensori cavi pulsazioni) are 2 cables, usually one
of the two is white, they are handpulse sensors. They might be 3 or 4
wires. Each pulse need at least one cable + one which may be in
common.
Note
that if the bike has jack type connectors (headphones), these are
interchangeable with those of the example computer above, but if you
see a connector made up of a single long cable strip, this is not
compatible and you need a different computer (bike “ergometer”
computer with automatic tension adjustment).
