Star Gym Treadmill assistance: E1 error for magnetic speed sensor treadmills

E1: when the E1 message appears on the console after about 5-10 seconds, it means that no speed signal has been detected.
Solutions to the problem:
• check that the speed sensor is correctly connected to the control board;
• check the presence of the magnet on the front roller pulley;
• check that the sensor cable is not damaged or there is no damage to the sensor itself;
• check the distance L = about 3mm (see picture) of the sensor from the magnet on the front roller pulley; if sensor iss too far or too close to the pulley may cause error;
• replace the sensor;
if it still doesn’t work check control board, motor, cabling and console.
