How to solve the most common problems with the display of ergometers (electronic resistance regulation)
No
power:
1)
Check that the power supply cable is firmly inserted into the bike
socket
2)
Check with a tester that the power supply emits voltage (usually
works from 6 VDC to 9 VDC)
3)
Check the cables that connect the display to the bike. Try
disconnecting and reconnecting the cables and making sure that all
pins are straight (none should be bent) and that the connection is
nice and tight.
Failed
to set resistance or failed to read laps
Check
the data cables that connect the display to the bike. Try
disconnecting and reconnecting the cables and making sure that all
