Every time it is
possible, installing the motor with special motor fixing bands
instead of screws allows to obtain several advantages:
1) You get a perfect
alignment between belt and pulley of the motor.
2) It avoids the use
of excessively long screws, which my interfere with the motor
armature.
3) You can tension
easily the drive belt. Release (unscrew) the fixing bands which
tighten and put the belt in place. Then tighten (screw) the fixing
bands to tighten the drive belt.
